Disney and Pixar's Onward is filled with fantastical creatures, quests of a lifetime, and family bond unlike any other. To celebrate its cometh-ing to theaters, we partnered with them to create stickers that will really cast some magic onto your social feed. My role was to conceptualize and animate fun little stickers for mobile messaging apps.
This involved using 3d character assets provided or using rotoscoping techniques to isolate the character from the movie.
Once the animations were complete I researched and applied various compression techniques to make the file sizes as small as possible while still maintaining colors and quality.
